  2. Heavy Chewing of Food: Madhavan stressed the importance of chewing food thoroughly, about 45-60 times per bite. He humorously referred to this as “drinking your food and chewing your water.” Proper chewing aids digestion. It helps prevent overeating by allowing the body to feel full sooner.
